Peter McPhee

Peter McPhee is Chief Engineer at EarthSpark International. He is currently involved in the design and implementation of renewable energy systems for rural electrification in Haiti. He has also conducted numerous trainings for Haitian technicians on the installation of distributed generation systems. Outside of EarthSpark, he is a Project Manager for the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, where he focuses on promoting both small and utility-scale wind energy development throughout Massachusetts. Formerly, Peter was a consultant for the international energy consulting company KEMA, where his worked centered on design and evaluation of renewable energy programs, feasibility analysis of wind energy projects, and assessment of emerging energy technologies. Peter holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts and an M.S. from the Johns Hopkins University, both in Mechanical Engineering. He lives in the greater Boston, MA area with his cat Lucy. In his spare time, Peter enjoys traveling to foreign lands and climbing mountains.
